Platinum Airways is arguably the first virtual airline that implements the Open Skies policy in the most radical way. Our pilots may fly any mission of their choice without prior approval, as long as the departure and arrival destinations both have an ICAO code. In addition, Platinum Airways also offers a hubs based schedule of more than 800 flights, ranging from a hop around the corner to a complete world round trip. In order to fly these missions, we offer a strong fleet of modern passenger aircraft in Platinum Airways livery.
Platinum Airways has strategically selected five hubs around the globe to attract VP's from all continents. We have three hubs in North America: Vancouver in British Columbia, Dallas - Fort Worth in Texas and Newark Liberty International in the New York metropolitan area. Australian and Asian VP's can fly out of Perth International and Brussels International was the logical choice to cover Europe. In addition, Platinum Airways pilots are not stuck to their hubs and have the freedom to switch for flights between hubs or to select free flights without limitation. So why don't you join us and fly a mission into snow country out of Vancouver today and over Australia's Outbacks tomorrow, or don't you fly from KDFW to EBBR, switch to the European schedule and try the difficult approach into Innsbruck? Each hub's flight schedule is available on the hubs' web page (that also contains other worthwhile information) as a PDF download to registered VP's. In addition, for Open Skies flights, a complete list with all civilian ICAO airports that have runways of at least 5,000 ft is available to our pilots.
Platinum Airways offers a number of repaints for its fleet
Whenever possible, we will also make available alternative panel and sound files, which may be packaged with the models below.
Aircraft and/or livery downloads are available in the members section and are available for freeware and payware aircraft. Don't despair if you don't find your aircraft of choice: you may use any aircraft to fly your missions. And if you would like a Platinum Airways repaint of your aircraft: you know how to contact us.

Platinum rank structure
Our rank structure is based on flight hours completed, like any other airline. When joining Platinum, we will assign you the rank of "Trainee" on approval of your application. We invite all pilots to submit proof of previously accumulated flight hours.
We then require you to complete your first (maiden) flight with Platinum within two weeks. After completion of this flight, we will credit your log file with previous flight hours, and we will update your rank accordingly.
Listed below are the ranks and associated shoulder boards, indicating the hours required to obtain the rank.
